Mr. McAndrews has been the Director of Admissions at Cardinal Mooney since 2017 and head boys basketball coach of the Cardinals since 1998. He is a 1993 graduate of Cardinal Mooney where he earned his varsity letter in basketball, football, and baseball. Mr. McAndrews went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in business and marketing from Concordia University Chicago, where he was a 4 year collegiate basketball player. Prior to his job in the admissions office at Cardinal Mooney, Mr. McAndrews spent numerous years in the insurance industry where he enjoyed many successful years as a district sales coordinator. As coach of the Cardinals boys basketball team, he has over 300 wins, and led the program to 7-district championships, 3-regional championships, 3-Elite 8 games, 2-Final 4 appearances, and 1-State Championship game appearance.
