Mrs. Lazar teaches Visual Arts at Cardinal Mooney and has been there for 13 years. She has a total of 14 years of teaching experience. Mrs. Lazar is an alumna of Cardinal Mooney who returned to teach in 2011. She graduated from Oakland University with a focus in Studio Art, Art History, and K12 Art Education. Her students have earned several scholarships and regional and national awards, including National Gold Medals and American Vision Awards at the National Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. In 2018, Mrs. Lazar was selected for the “Inspiring High School Art Educator Award” through the Alliance of Young Artists and Writers, nominated by her students.
